Buzz Aldrin is the second person to set feet on the Moon & he is not afraid of the public spotlight:

Seems like such a nice guy.

How can he not be the coolest?

Here he is, Singing out the word, "Science!" with Thomas Dolby. He's like your favorite Grandpa, rocking out in an endearing fashion at a family wedding.

He's not afraid to have fun, or to be real. In a few of his books, he shares his struggles going to & returning from the Moon. He's 83 years old & he ventures out to walk the red carpet for blockbuster premieres & says Star Trek is better than Star Wars-based solely on the ship designs.
He also punched a man for antagonizing him about whether or not the Moon Landing was real.
Retirement is nowhere in sight for this guy, how can you not respect & admire all that gumption?
